In a special lecture that will conclude the program, Prof. Ariely will discuss the psychology of money: what influences our financial decisions, what makes us spend or save, what common mistakes we make when managing our money, and, most importantly, how we can improve?

About the lecturer: Prof. Dan Ariely 

One of the world’s most prominent researchers in behavioral economics. His groundbreaking research deals with decision-making, motivation and errors in judgment, an alumnus of the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Social Sciences, both Summa Cum Laude, Tel Aviv University, and he’s the author of “Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions” and “The Honest Truth About Dishonesty”. Prof. Ariely lectures at Duke University and serves as a consultant to leading organizations all over the world.

The Financial Literacy Mentoring Program is the result of a collaboration between the Financial Aid section at the Dean of the Student Success Center and the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization.
